Tenant(s) MUST have verifiable income.  An eviction in the last 7 years is an automatic denial, regardless of the final case status.  We do landlord checks.  For background checks, a pattern of activity could be a denial, anything older than 10 years old is ignored.  Tenants must be 21 or older.

If an applicant qualifies, they have 3 business days to sign a lease, pay the sec dep, and submit the Section 8 packet.  If the applicant is unable to do this, the next qualified applicant will be offered the opportunity.

Sex offenders are an automatic denial.  No exceptions.

Rental Qualifications

Gross monthly income must be 3x the monthly rent (job, retirement pay, SSI, SSDI).  An eviction in the last 7 years is an automatic denial, regardless of the final case status.  We do landlord checks.  Credit scores must be 580 or higher on duplexes and apartments, 620 or higher for single family homes.  For background checks, a pattern of activity could be a denial.  Tenants must be 21 or older.  We do not accept co-signers.

If you are employed, you must be actively employed at a "local" / greater Cleveland area business.  DO NOT apply if you are moving to the area and have yet to start a job (regardless if you have a job lined up).  Your application will be denied.

crock pot cooking

I love using my crock pot...so much so I own 2 crock pots; and yes, there are times when both being used at the same time.
With a busy schedule & 3 kids at home and with me & my husband both working full time, it can be a godsend...especially when the recipes are simple enough but are well received by those who eat them.

I'm not big into having a lot of cookbooks at home...I do have some, but they are well used.

I have found a website that has GREAT crock pot recipes... http://www.recipesthatcrock.com.  If you're looking for specific recipes or types of recipes (main dishes, desserts, etc), you can easily do so on this site.

I have signed up also from this website to receive a daily email with 2 to 3 recipes.  This works ideal for me when I don't have time to look through their website.

Fratello's Italian Restaurant, Avon Lake

I've been to Fratellos (in Avon Lake, on Electric Blvd) several times w/my best friend for special occasions.

Dimmed lights and a "candlelight" atmosphere (without the candlelights)...this is for those couples, friends, family looking to celebrate special events and/or couples looking for that special night out.

The food is absolutely great...you really can't pick anything wrong to eat here.  Services is more professional than most other restaurants.

Oh, and the desserts!!!  They are delicious.  Even if you don't have room to eat it right after your meal, order it to go...it is well worth the midnight snack.

It is on the pricer side...BUT, it is well worth it for the great quality food, atmosphere, service and total overall experience...definitely the place to go for all of your special occasions.

A big complaint I have is that the small size of the restaurant given its popularity & given the wait to get a table at peak dining times.  Though reservations can be made for parties of 5 or more.

While I've seen smaller children at this restaurant, I would highly recommend leaving children with a sitter.  The setting & atmosphere is more inclined for adults.
