The Whip Restuarant, Pearl Rd, Parma Hts

My husband & I love going on lunch dates...not that we do it all the time, but it's often enough.  While we do have the occasional stop at Arby's, Wendy's, Burger King, Mr Hero, or Subway, we honestly love the locally owned & operated independent restaurants...there's just something that makes them unique.  Each one has its own features that make them stand out.

My family had been to The Whip back during Lent because they were having "fish fry" specials.  Not that we participate in Lent rituals, but we went b/c it was a highly recommended place to go with family on a Friday evening.  Food & service was great.

My husband & I just went recently for a lunch date.  Compared to George's (which we go with the children for special occasions) & The Garden (which we frequent for our date lunches), the selection at The Whip is more limited.  That can be a good thing as The Whip does serve good quality food of what is on the menu.  The prices seem to be higher at The Whip as well...however, my husbands chef salad was large in size.  The service is excellent and prompt.

For curiosity and for something different, I would not hesitate to recommend The Whip.  In relation to our lunch dates, while my husband & I will likely go to our other usual places more often than not, we'll likely go to The Whip for the occasional change of pace.
